It’s Halloween! Or close enough. So don your Anime cosplay or do your best zombie impersonation and join us for an evening of friends & films. All horror/halloween films, that is. There’s a cash bar that also takes credit cards to help you through the horror but there’s really no dress code. Come in a t-shirt & jeans if you’d like, we’re not snobs. Click the above image for more information. Tickets just for the night or as an all-festival pass so you never miss a film.

“Snowflake,” an award winning local favorite heads the bill in our first official session at the Screaming Ostrich film festival, and it’s an All-Family program. As a super extra treat we’ll have members of the cast & crew of Snowflake on hand for a Q&A. But, all totaled, you get more than 90 minutes of family friendly entertainment so buy some popcorn & enjoy the show! In the mean time just click on the image to read about all the films.
Our Session #2 at the Screaming Ostrich film festival is hosting a very special guest, state Senator William Brownsberger. Senator Brownsberger will be joining us to speak on the subject of Ranked Choice Voting, an issue he cares about and one that just happens to be the subject of one of our great documentaries this year. Click on the image above to read about the other awesome films playing in this session, and scoop up some tickets!
Our Session #3 is a Roller Coaster Ride, tearing you through everything from a serious documentary to potty mouthed puppets in space! We built in a little extra time to hopefully guilt one or more film makers into a Q&A following the screenings. Click on the image above for information and to buy your tickets.
Sunday, Final Networking Session, R-Rated Selections, and Closing Night Party
Sunday, October 20th, 4pm at the Collaboration Space of Enceuntro5, 9a Hamilton Place Boston Ma. Building relationships, recruiting talented people; these are a must for film makers and all the more important when your resources & budget are limited. When you can’t just throw money at a problem you’ve got to tackle it with creativity and skill. That’s why we’re stressing NETWORKING. People are the first, last & usually only resource the little indy film maker has, so unless you’re pushing people away, you’ve got so many of them, be at this event. Everyone is welcome, all skills are necessary and THIS EVENT IS FREE AND OPEN TO THE PUBLIC.
Sunday, October 20th, 6:30pm This session is R-rated (18 and over). Rod Webber will be hosting his latest work, “Straight Pride is Hate Pride.” Also scheduled is “Paying Up”, a highly controversial film with a powerful statement on drug addiction.
